We DO NOT offer "Non-Destructive" Scanning. All binding is removed to accomplish high quality and accurate scans and books cannot be returned. We do hold the books for 60 days to ensure enough time to review the files.

To keep you from having to count each individual page we make it easy by just selecting the range in which your page numbers fall into. We also don't count blank pages unlike other companies!
This helps us to determine which options are assigned to which books if you are sending multiple books.
All digital scanning services include a direct download link sent to you via e-mail. The link includes a zip file containing the Word document, a searchable pdf, and other optional e-book formats.
PDF indexing allows you to have access to bookmarks in your PDF file that can navigate to any chapter in the book. Each chapter or subchapter entry counts as a bookmark. If your book has many sub-entries in the Table of Contents and for instance you only want the chapter headings, please specify in the notes on the next page.
This is the standard e-book format for Kindle Readers. All heavy imagery is removed except the cover and smaller images.
Kindle Standard: Books will be formatted and readable on Kindle devices. Novels and books with mainly text can be read as reflowable text. Books requiring strict layout such as textbooks and image heavy books will be non-reflowable.
Kindle w/ Clickable Table of Contents: Everything with Kindle Standard PLUS all of your chapters will be linked to a clickable Table of Contents that will be found in the beginning of the book as well as the menu of your e-reader. Choose the option that matches the number of chapters in your book.
The purpose of PDF/X is to facilitate graphics exchange, and it therefore has a series of printing related requirements which do not apply to standard PDF files. For example, in PDF/X-3a all fonts need to be embedded and all images need to be CMYK or spot colors.
You won't need this option for a standard pdf file which is already included with the order.
